US buyers moving cable sourcing out of China need a partner that can match performance, document every batch and ship on schedule. Channeltech manufactures in India, achieved ETL certification on first attempt for CAT6A S/FTP, and gives your engineers direct access to ours.
China-origin cable carries Section 301 duties that Indian-origin cable does not. India also offers a second production base outside a single region.
Cable installed in US buildings must carry the NEC rating for its location — CMP for plenum, CMR for riser, CM or CMG for general use. Channeltech does not currently hold NEC listings; if your programme needs one, talk to us about the certification route and timeline.
Commercial invoices, packing lists and country-of-origin details prepared for US entry, including the copper-content information importers now report.
Custom constructions, print legends and packaging, with batch test data supplied in your format.

As of October 2026, imported copper data cable is subject to a 25% Section 232 duty on copper derivatives, whatever its origin. China-origin cable also carries Section 301 duties, which makes total duty on Chinese cable materially higher than on Indian-origin cable. US tariff rules have changed several times in 2026, so confirm current rates for your HTS line with your customs broker before costing a programme.
Planning estimate only. Container capacity depends on packaging; transit times vary by carrier and routing (Suez or Cape of Good Hope). We confirm the packing list and sailing schedule with your quote.
