Duty and trade agreements

Indian-origin cable currently enters the EU at the standard (MFN) duty — about 3.7% on most data-cable lines — because the EU has suspended GSP preferences for this product group until the end of 2028. The EU–India free trade agreement concluded negotiations in January 2026 but is not yet in force. Confirm the rate for your tariff line with your customs broker.

Not yet. Channeltech's CPR (EN 50575) certification is in progress, with jacket compounds engineered to Cca and Dca targets. We'll share the timeline for your required EuroClass. Performance to ISO/IEC 11801-1 Class EA and TIA-568.2-D is tested and documented for every batch today.
How long does shipping from India to Rotterdam take?+
Port-to-port sea transit from Nhava Sheva to Rotterdam or Antwerp is roughly 20–28 days via Suez, or up to about 38 days when carriers route around the Cape of Good Hope. Add 3–4 weeks of production from order confirmation.
Can you manufacture CAT6A under our brand?+
Yes. OEM and private-label production is our core business — custom print legends, packaging and cable constructions built to your specification, with batch test data supplied in your format.
What import duty applies to Indian LAN cable in the EU?+
